The project is in the third year of implementation and progress to date has been slow, with disbursements currently at 9 percent. The Needs Assessment for Component 1 and 2 is complete and has been endorsed by the Project Steering Committee. The Review of Institutional and Governance Structures for Port Management is underway; however, its implementation is behind schedule. In addition, the Strategic Plan is currently behind schedule due to ongoing delays in the procurement process.
