It became effective on April 28, 2022. To date, the project has made progress in preparing key documents needed to guide implementation such as the project implementation manual and environmental and social documents, namely, the Environmental and Social Management Framework, the Infection Control and Waste Management Plan, and the Labor Management Plan. Training materials and tools are also being prepared. For example, the Interim Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) Tool has been developed, and capacity building of relevant GRM personnel and officers are currently ongoing including community sensitization on GRM and uptake channels. GRM fliers and posters for mass sensitization are being procured. The Social Sector Specialist has joined the Project Implementing Entity. The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will be on board on July 1, 2022. 6/27/2022 Page 1 of 6 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Zimbabwe COVID-19 Emergency Response Project (P176141) Risks Systematic Operations Risk-rating Tool Risk Category Rating at Approval Previous Rating Current Rating Political and Governance Substantial -- Substantial Macroeconomic Substantial -- Substantial Sector Strategies and Policies Moderate -- Moderate Technical Design of Project or Program Moderate -- Moderate Institutional Capacity for Implementation and Substantial -- Substantial Sustainability Fiduciary Moderate -- Moderate Environment and Social Substantial -- Substantial Stakeholders Moderate -- Moderate Other -- -- -- Overall Substantial -- Substantial Results PDO Indicators by Objectives / Outcomes To support the Government of Zimbabwe to deploy and manage COVID-19 vaccines IN01150441 ►Percentage of population vaccinated, which is included in the priority population as defined in the national plan, disaggregated by gender (Percentage, Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 39.00 -- 47.90 65.00 Date 21-Dec-2021 -- 31-May-2022 31-Aug-2023 Increasing trend Comments: Strengthen related health system capacity IN01150442 ►Proportion of primary health care facilities with functional solar-powered cold chain system (Percentage, Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target 6/27/2022 Page 2 of 6 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Zimbabwe COVID-19 Emergency Response Project (P176141) Value 64.00 -- 64.00 79.00 Date 01-Jun-2021 -- 31-May-2022 31-Aug-2023 No change because procurement of 90 SSD refrigerators that were expected to be purchased as part of retroactive financing did not take place because the BFP team's suppliers offered responsive models that were significantly more expensive than other models offered by UNICEF. Project registration with Comments: UNICEF took time. Preparation of the procurement agreement is taking time because the WB requires three annexes to be added to said agreement.
