Of this total, 2,473 farmers (79%) have partially collected tools and supplies. For livestock farmers, a total of 321 applications were received by the PIU, 284 structures have been assessed, of which 119 have 4/5/2022 Page 1 of 8 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Emergency Agricultural Livelihoods and Climate Resilience Project (P166328) been approved, for a total expected project investments value of US$ 1,3 million. Field implementation for the construction of livestock structures began in March 2022 in the northeastern region. Under the fisheries activity, 301 applications were received for assistance for fishing vessels (115 vessels and five (5) canoes) and engines restoration (181). A total of 108 engines (50 hp and 100 hp) have been distributed. As of now physical works have been partially completed on the CLF and the north-east agricultural offices, however significant work remains for both these structures. The GoCD has submitted a request for the CERC deadline to be extended and money reallocated from savings in other components to finance cash transfer for a 1000 additional farmers (in addition to the 2,210 farmers who have already recieved cash grants under the CERC) for a budget of US$500,000.
