The Bank has also continued providing technical assistance activities to the MoE to support Project implementation, including in the areas of statistical capacity, human resource system strengthening, infrastructure standards and designs, and preschool quality standards. The Project has advanced in the design of terms of reference for key technical assistance consultancies, activities to strengthen the sub-directorate of preschool education, and the selection of preschool centers for pre-investment studies under the infrastructure component.
