Re: Ethiopia: Expressway Development Support Project

Notice of Partial Cancellation
We refer to the Financing Agreement ("Financing Agreement") between the Federal Democratic
Republic of Ethiopia and the International Development Association ("Association"), dated June 18, 2015,
for the Expressway Development Support Project ("Project"), pursuant to which the World Bank has
extended the above captioned credit ("Credit")
As you are aware, significant resources of the above captioned Project remain uncommitted despite the
significant time already elapsed since the start of project. In light of the foregoing, we enclose herewith a
revised schedule that indicates the amounts now allocated to each of the categories set forth in the table in
Section IV.A of Schedule 2 to the Financing Agreement between the International Development
Association ("the Association") and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia for the above referenced
Project, dated June 18, 2015.
This withdrawal schedule reflects the cancellation in the amount of SDR 15,600,000, in accordance
with the provisions of Section 8.03 of the General Conditions for Credits and Grants. A separate amendment
letter will be sent to effectuate the requested restructuring of the Project.
