Workplans and procurement plans for GJSP covering the first 18-month period of project implementation were completed by June 2021, followed by a first disbursement by the Bank in June 2021. The Project Technical Committee met in August 2021, and another meeting of the committee is expected in December/January 2021. Key procurements across all project components are currently underway. The Bank, the PCU, and the implementing and partnering agencies have been holding regular technical meetings to make progress on procurement and the implementation of the interventions under the results-based and standard IPF components of the project. The government is planning an official project launch by the end of this year.
