Since the beginning of the project 975 Self Help Groups (SHGs) which represents 11,428 poor and vulnerable households (90% of them being women) in the 9 targeted districts of Siem Reap province. As of November 2021, on-time loan repayment rate is 81.74% which shows a strong ownership of the core principles of the SHGs members, even during the COVID19 crisis. In addition, as of November 2021, 77 community infrastructures have been built in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh consisting of roads, water point and network, irrigation schemes etc. The next cycle of community infrastructures will focus on using local communities labor to provide additional incomes to communities’ members impacted by the COVID19 crisis.
