It will also focus on building the capacity of Public Procurement Entities and Private Sector firms. The grant will support “Strengthening oversight and transparency/integrity” by improving the data collection, data management, and data analytics through e-GP. Owing to the specialized focus of the intervention, environmental and social risks associated with the programme are considered low. D. 2. Borrower’s Institutional Capacity The implementing Agency will be Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) that is mandated to provide procurement oversight in the country. The proposed support will enhance institutional capacity on procurement. II. SCREENING OF POTENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL (ES) RISKS AND IMPACTS A. Identification of potential risks and mitigation measures will be included in line with the scope of the operation. Whilst the environmental and social risks are identified as low, further assessment will be done during to appraisal.
