The ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic has resulted in some delays in implementation. The Grants Managers responsible for management of the RBF grants on behalf of FGS and Somaliland have been contracted. In FGS, 11 solar service providers have been awarded RBF grants; while Somaliland 12 solar service providers have been awarded with RBF grants. The consultancy for Analytical work for enabling electrification through solar-powered/hybrid mini-grids has been completed in FGS, and Somaliland.
