FSM's borders remain close at this stage, causing most consultancy contracts to be executed remotely. The draft Bids Evaluation Report (BER) for the Ponhpei Utility Corporation (PUC) Power Plant, the main project investment, was received and reviewed by the World Bank; a final revised version is expected from the project by the end of June 2022. Implementation is expected to start in the second half of 2022. Chuuk solar PV plant tender is expected to be launched around August/ September 2022 after completion of the ESMP expected end of July 2022.
