Key achievements under Component 1:  20,881 households have benefitted from the distribution of kits of non-food items (NFIs) for life support and basic necessity assistance.  36,055 households have been reached with farming inputs and non-farming inputs.  277 Peace Groups have been formed across the states.  13,500 trauma victims have benefitted from psycho-social support services (PSS).  1,653 government officials trained in crisis recovery and management skills.  Strengthening and prioritizing interventions around livelihoods and community engagement is a priority: (a) revised SIPs focusing on sustainable livelihood opportunities; (b) LIPWs framework being prepared; (c) TORs for Community Engagement approach to be prepared. Key achievements under Component 2:  254,216 persons (51% of them female) have benefited from improved access to service delivery infrastructure such as roads, hospitals, schools, WASH facilities and public buildings.  178km of roads rehabilitated (80-114km target), 63 schools reconstructed (38-55 target), 48 health facilities restored (38-55 target), and 51 public buildings rehabilitated (38-55 target).  During this mission it was noted that against a target of 1,237 subprojects, 1197 (97%) have been initiated, 980 (81%) completed and 933 (94%) handed over to respective Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) for operations and maintenance (O&M). 47 (5%) sub- projects are under active stage of implementation and expected to be completed by Dec 2021.  States have completed AF planning process i.e. state investment plan (SIP) preparations included consultations with MDAs for prioritization of AF sub-projects. Approval process for SIPs and workplans is ongoing. Key achievements under Component 3: General focus has been to align its performance and disbursement projections to the requirements of the AF and lessons learnt from past performance, particularly in terms of M&E and the need to ensure that TPM becomes an integral part of project optimization and performance review  Consolidated and improved project wide coordination, management, M&E and technical support needs.  Reviewed expenditures versus disbursement of the overall Component 3.  Optimizing BAYSMART to provide better performance for monitoring and evaluation.  24 subprojects identified for the Regional Coordination and Knowledge Management Platform Activities.
