Resettlement to the new housing constructed under the Project is pending last decisions regarding street openings and the finalization of the last phase of resettlement housing. After testing pilot projects for low voltage electricity infrastructure and new household water connections, the government is on track to scale up both interventions. An impact evaluation of the resettlement program has been completed as have various consultancies to support implementation of the Project in Barrio Mugica. Province of Buenos Aires Integrated Urban Plans have been developed for all Project neighborhoods (neighborhoods in Moron, La Matanza, and Quilmes). The plan for La Matanza has been approved and those for La Matanza and Quilmes are expected to be approved shortly. They are based on diagnostics of gaps in access to basic services, infrastructure, and opportunities in these neighborhoods, and an assessment of current habitat conditions. In parallel to the development of these plans, OPISU and municipal counterparts have begun designing and implementing select works and services interventions prioritized within the draft plans. In the Carlos Gardel neighborhood of the Municipality of Morón, several works contracts have been paused, pending technical and contractual revisions. OPISU is working with the municipal government of Moron to arrive at a resolution. Several new subprojects are at various stages of the bidding process. In Villa Itati (Quilmes) cooperatives are undertaking cleaning and maintenance. OPISU is undergoing the bidding processes for the subprojects Improvement of public space and drainage in Falucho Street and Pilcomayo Housing. In Puerta de Hierro, San Petersburgo, 17 de Marzo and 17 de Marzo Bis (La Matanza), cooperatives are undertaking cleaning and maintenance. The Peribebuy housing subproject is under execution and the Pekin housing project and the Potreros public space project are in the bidding process.
