Collaboration with all counterparts is very productive. One notable achievement of the government program is the number of registered and active e-wallets: a doubling of the baseline of April 2020 for all users and a tripling of the baseline for Syrians- due to the rapid digitization of humanitarian aid. This fast adoption of digital financial services has been enabled by the Central Bank of Jordan's rapid response to COVID (new e-KYC procedures and exceptional outreach). Other aspects of the program are progressing well, including the new flexible work permits regime for Syrians, which should be put in place in the upcoming weeks.
