In addition, the results framework and project implementation arrangements were revised to better reflect the revised project design and revised development objectives and the Credit proceeds were reallocated in line with the new activities. Public Disclosure Copy The GoB is strongly committed to the design of the restructured project. Two of the major activities of the restructured project, the opening of ten Integrated Disability Service Centers (IDSCs) and seven Integrated Child Protection Service Centers (ICPSCs), are included in the work plans of the implementing agencies (the Jatiyo Protibondhi Unnayan Foundation and the Department of Social Services) for the current fiscal year, and it is expected that the centers will be operational by April 2012. Despite the delays in signing the Subsidiary Agreement (an Additional Condition for Effectiveness), the implementing agencies have made significant progress toward this goal. The Jatiyo Protibondhi Unnayan Foundation (JPUF) has secured premises for eight of the ten IDSCs and has finished recruitment of nearly half of the staff positions for the centers and is advertising to fill the rest of the positions. Recruited staff are currently undergoing an induction training. JPUF has initiated procurement for therapy equipment and computers for the centers and for vehicles and office furniture. JPUF has also hired, and is in the process of finalizing contracts, with a number of key consultants. Similarly, the Department of Social Services (DSS) has completed staff recruitment for the ICPCs, is in the process of securing premises and procuring furniture and other basics for the centers, and is filling positions in its PIU.
