The commissioning of both dams was conducted in early 2014, two years delay than originally planned. But the treatment of the leakage in upper end of Hongwawu has not been done yet. This significantly influenced the electricity generation ouput from Hongwawu. The Trustee and project entity have thus agreed to further adjust the original ER targets to 157,745 tons of CO2e. The target was firstly reduced from 485,000 tons of CO2e to 249,590 tons of CO2e through ERPA amendment (signed on November 15, 2012). 6/25/2015 Page 1 of 3 Public Disclosure Copy Public Disclosure Copy The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Hubei Hydropower Development in Poor Areas Project (P068049) Risks Systematic Operations Risk-rating Tool Risk Category Rating at Approval Previous Rating Current Rating Political and Governance -- Low *Low Macroeconomic -- Low *Low Sector Strategies and Policies -- Low 0 Low Technical Design of Project or Program -- Substantial 0 Substantial Institutional Capacity for Implementation and -- Moderate Moderate Sustainability Fiduciary -- Moderate Moderate Environment and Social -- Moderate Moderate Stakeholders -- Low 0Low Other -- Low *Low Overall 0 Substantial 0 Substantial Related Project(s) 6/25/2015 Page 2 of 3 Public Disclosure Copy Public Disclosure Copy The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Hubei Hydropower Development in Poor Areas Project (P068049) P094795-China-PCF-CDCF Hubei Guangrun Hydropower 6/25/2015 Page 3 of 3 Public Disclosure Copy
