The State Government has requested, among others changes, an extension of the Project Closing Date, already authorized by the Federal Page 1 of 4 The World Bank Report No: ISR4850 Government (the Guarantor). Therefore, the Bank has approved on December 15, 2011 this Project Restructuring including (i) a change in the Borrower representative from the Secretariat of Planning to the Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development; (ii) an extension of its closing date from December 31, 2011 to June 30, 2012. Additionally, the Bank has agreed with the State Government an action plan to complete the investments in the rural areas by the revised closing date.
