The government has since finalized the recruitment of staff for the three provincial Project Implementation Units (PPIU) and District Operation Officers for the 16 selected districts. The World Bank team together with the government conducted a technical implementation readiness mission from January 20 -25, 2020 to support the government in finalizing the annual work plan and budget and preparing for early project implementation. The team also took part in on- boarding workshop for the new PIU team to help them get familiarized with the project.
