Credit No. 2619 BUR (Population and AIDS Control Project) Amendment to 
Development Credit 
Agreement
We refer to the Development Credit Agreement (the Agreement), dated June 8, 1994 
for the above-mentioned Project between Burkina Faso (the Borrower) and the 
International Development Association (the Association) and your letter dated February 
3, 1998, requesting the Association to increase the Authorized Allocation under the 
Special Account from $500,000 to $800,000.  We are pleased to inform you that the 
Association agrees to modify paragraph 1 (c) of  Schedule 5 of the Agreement to read 
as follows:
“(c)
the term “Authorized Allocation” means an amount equivalent to 
$800,000 to be withdrawn from the Credit Account and deposited into the 
Special Account pursuant to paragraph 3 (a) of this Schedule.”
All provisions of the Agreement, except as amended herein, shall remain in full 
force and effect.
Please indicate your agreement with the foregoing by countersigning and dating 
the two original copies of this letter and returning one original to us.  This 
amendment shall become effective as of the date of your countersignature.
