Re: WAPP: West African Power Pool (WAPP) Integration and Technical Assistance Project:
Amendment to the Original Project Financing Agreement) (H770-3A)
Extension of Closing Date
We refer to the Financing Agreement H770-3A for the financing of the West African
Power Pool (WAPP) - C6te d'Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea Power Connection Project,
dated August 20, 2012, between the West African Power Pool (WAPP) and the International
Development Association (the Association), as amended through the Financing Agreement for the
Additional Financing signed on December 18, 2017.
We are pleased to inform you that the Association hereby agrees to extend the closing date
of the Project to December 15, 2020, as stated in the amended text of Section IV.B.2. of Schedule
2 for the above project. All other provisions of the Financing Agreement H770-3A, which are not
expressly modified in accordance with the text in the Financing Agreement signed on December
18, 2017, remain unchanged.
Please indicate your agreement with the foregoing, by countersigning and dating the three
original copies of this letter and returning one countersigned original copy to the Association.
Upon receipt by the Association of said original copy countersigned by the authorized
representative of the WAPP and dated, this amendment shall become effective as of the date of
countersignature of this letter.
