Malnutrition and open defecation rates are high even among the rich. Most adults have only a few years of schooling. There are however gains in schooling for the young. Enrollment in public schools is high for a majority of them. While improvements in schooling for the younger generation are a bright spot, better learning outcomes have not followed.
