Announcement of First Bank Loan to Jamaica on April 8, 1965 (English)

The World Bank has made a loan of 5.5 million dollar to Jamaica for a high priority road project. This is the first Bank loan to Jamaica. It will assist in financing the improvement of three sections of road on the main route from Kingston, the capital, to the north coast.
