On Component 1 (improvement of SBEE commercial performance) the physical work to establish the SBEE call center is expected to be completed by December 2021. The contract for the supply and installation of smart meters related to the revenue protection program is being signed. On Component 2 (reinforcement and extension of distribution networks), the two main contracts related to the rehabilitation of distribution networks are expected to be signed by July 2021. The 75,000 prepaid meters have been received and 35,442 have been installed so far. On Component 3 (biomass), the adoption of 300,000 ha of sustainable forest management plan, the development of rural charcoal markets, and the development of apiculture activities (income generating activities) are progressing well. The sustainable forest management plans are expected to be approved by the end of September 2021. On Component 4 (sector studies), key sector studies are either completed or expected to be complete in the coming months.
