Project Description The Pakistan Governance Support Project (GSP) aims to strengthen the capacity of government departments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), FATA and Balochistan to help support efficient delivery Public Disclosure Copy of the Post Crisis Needs Assessment (PCNA) program in KP and FATA and related development programs in Balochistan. The Project consist of two main components: Component 1: Strengthening of the PCNA Implementation Support Units (ISU), Provision of Technical Assistance and Institutional Building to Line Departments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Line Directorates of FATA Component 2: Rapid Response Facility (RRF) The current funding amount of the Project totals US$ 12.75 million reflecting the Project's original allocation of US$ 6.0 million and its subsequent increase through a first additional financing of US$ 2.75 million and a second additional financing of US$ 4.0 million. The proposed restructuring of the Project consists of a simple extension of the closing date to December 31st, 2015. No other changes are proposed. 4.
