We refer to the above-re erer ced grant agreement between the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (the "Foundation" i ar d th,- International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the Inte-nationl Development Association (IDA), (collectively, the "Bank") regarding the Improving the Qualiy and Policy Relevance of Household-Level Data on Agriculture in Sub-Saharan Africa Trust Fund (TF No. 071165) (the "Trust Fund") effective No,rnber 13, 2008, as amended (th( "Grant Agreement"). All capitalized terms not otherwise defir.ed herein will have the meanings set forth in the Grant Agreement. 2. We are pleased to adN ise the Bank that the Foundation will increase the grant amount through a supplemental cont -ibution to the Trust Fund in the amount of One Million Four Hundred Ninety Three Thousanc, Ei ht Hundred United States dollars (US$1,493,800.00) (the "Supplemental Contribution"). With this Supplemental Contribution, the total amount allocated by te Foundation to this Tiust Fur d will now aggregate to Twenty Million Eight Hundred Ninety Eight Thousand Six Hundred Thirty Nine United States dollars (US$20,898,639.00) (the "Contribution" or the "Grant Funds"'. This letter will amend the Grant Agreement accordingly ("Amendment"). 3. The Foundation shall deposi- the Supplemental Contribution into such bank account designated by the Bank promptly foll )wing countersignature of this Amendment and submission of a payment request by the Bant . 4. When making such depDsit, the Foundation shall instruct its bank to include in its payment details information (remittance advice) field of its SWIFT payment message, information indicating: the amount paid, that the payment is made by the Donor for the TF No. 071165 (Improving tht Qtality and Policy Relevance of Household-Level Data on -2- Agriculture in Sub-Saharan Africa Trust Fund), and the date of the deposit. In addition, the Donor shall provide a copy of the deposit instruction to the Bank's Accounting Trust Funds Division by e-mail sent to tfremitadvice@worldbank.org or by fax sent to (202) 614-1315. 5. The Supplemental Contribution will be used to finance the activities described in Section 4 of the proposal dated April 25, 2012. 6. The project budget referred to in paragraph I of the Grant Agreement is hereby replaced with the revised budget attached to this Amendment as Attachment 1. 7. All other terms of the Grant Agreement shall remain unmodified and in full force and effect. 8. The Bank will disclose this Amendment and related information on this Trust Fund in accordance with the World Bank Policy on Access to Information. By entering into this Amendment, the Foundation consents to disclosure of this Amendment and related information on this Grant Agreement. 9. Please confirm your acceptance of the foregoing, on behalf of the Bank, by signing and dating the two originals, retaining one original for your records and returning the other original to the Foundation. Upon receipt by the Foundation of the Amendment countersigned by you, this Amendment will become effective as of the date of countersignature.
