There is a baseline value for this indicator as the Ministry of Health (MoH) was already conducting GMP prior to project launch. This indicator has been recalculated for this ISR to reflect number of children U2 reached by project and Comments: number of children U2 reached by Ministry of Health GMP activities. Previously indicator was reflecting number of children U2 reached by project and number of children U5 reached by Ministry of Health GMP activities. Nevertheless, indicator is on track. Progress was slow because there were no Ministry of Health (MoH) guidelines on dissemination of this supplement for Comments: this age group. Guidelines have now been signed off by the MoH Director General of Health Services. There is a baseline value for this indicator as the Ministry of Health (MoH) was already reaching women with services in project areas prior to project launch. Indicator is on track. “People” has been interpreted to comprise only women. At MTR (March 2018) the Comments: term “improved” was defined to mean focus on “quality” (e.g. VHTs receiving training on Breastfeeding practices, Health care demand, Post Natal Care (PNC), Maternal Nutrition Care (MNC) etc.). Strengthening capacity to deliver nutrition interventions relevant to this project IN00767418 ►Number of cooking demonstrations carried out at community level (Number, Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 2,811.00 6,081.00 30,000.00 Date 30-Mar-2017 15-Mar-2019 25-Oct-2019 31-Dec-2020 Indicator value for 30 May 2018 was erroneously entered as 10,000.00. It should have been 1,000.00. This indicator is not on track, but the client is confident that the end target value will be met, because the project has overcome initial delays in implementing community-based activities, including Comments: those captured by this indicator, and cooking demonstrations have already been reported to be of great interest to the community. Increased demand for cooking demonstrations therefore is expected to encourage more demonstrations to take place in a relatively short time period. During Technical Mission in 11/25/2019 Page 4 of 7 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Uganda Multisectoral Food Security and Nutrition Project (P149286) October 2018, it was agreed that indicator will be measuring cooking demonstrations carried out at community level with Lead Farmer and Village Health Team. Nevertheless, Actual (current) has been calculated now to account for the actual (current) number of primary schools and the current (actual) number of Parent Groups (PGs). Previous Comments: values reported were assuming 1,500 primary schools and 3,000 PGs were active under the project. IN00767424 ►Number of primary schools offering a package of nutrition demonstration activities in project areas (Number, Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 1,442.00 1,500.00 1,500.00 Date 08-Mar-2016 15-Mar-2019 25-Oct-2019 31-Dec-2020 Indicator is on track. Nevertheless, the indicator target remains the same (1,500.00), and is expected to be met. IN00767426 ►Number of parent groups (PGs) established and functional (Number, Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 2,884.00 3,000.00 3,000.00 Date 08-Mar-2016 15-Mar-2019 25-Oct-2019 31-Dec-2020 Indicator is on track. The term “functional” was added in the indicator at MTR (March 2018), but it was accidentally omitted from the ISRs. “Functional” means that Parent Group (PGs) participate in project activities, and meet at least twice in a quarter (every 3 months), and they meet together with the Lead Farmer and the Village Health Team (VHT) in the community (as agreed during Technical Mission in October 2018). Comments: Indicator has been erroneously reported on. Actual PGs established are 2,884 because PGs are attached to primary schools covered by the project, and that number was also erroneously reported. There is a baseline value for this indicator as the Ministry of Health (MoH) was already providing deworming tablets to children in project areas prior to project launch. Comments: Indicator has already exceeded end project value. Total number of primary school children was underestimated at project preparation.
