The Loan is progressing without significant issues, and stakeholders are committed to delivering on assigned responsibilities and tasks. The COVID-19 measures have mildly affected progress due to cancellation of site visits including those needed for land transfers, resulting in minor delays of around two months; however, these delays have not significantly impacted overall project implementation progress. Initial withdrawal application has been processed and implementation arrangements are in place. Component 2 activities have started, including preparation of detailed engineering design (DED) packages, which should allow for procurement of first investments works before the end of 2020, as scheduled. Procurement of National Project Management Consultant (NPMC) is on-going, as the client and the Bank took some time to get used to the Bank’s STEP Procurement system. The task team expects the procurement of the first civil work will occur in December 2020. 11/25/2020 Page 1 of 6 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Improvement of Solid Waste Management to Support Regional and Metropolitan Cities (P157245) Risks Systematic Operations Risk-rating Tool Risk Category Rating at Approval Previous Rating Current Rating Political and Governance Moderate Moderate Moderate Macroeconomic Moderate Moderate Moderate Sector Strategies and Policies Moderate Moderate Moderate Technical Design of Project or Program Moderate Moderate Moderate Institutional Capacity for Implementation and High High High Sustainability Fiduciary Substantial Substantial Substantial Environment and Social Substantial Substantial Substantial Stakeholders Substantial Substantial Substantial Other -- -- Moderate Overall Substantial Substantial Substantial Results PDO Indicators by Objectives / Outcomes Improve solid waste management services for urban populations in selected cities across Indonesia IN00910017 ►1.
