Despite implementation delays, the Mexico GEF STAQ is performing satisfactory with respect to PDO achievements. The closing date of the grant has been extended to November 30 2015. This should provide sufficient time to complete all grant activities. (There are 13,200 daily bicycle trips, corresponding to 0.4 percent of total trips. Total NMT is 28 percent, i.e. 924,000 daily trips. 2006 Surveys and Estudio de Ciclovias ) PUEBLA: 1,212,378 daily NMT trips (The baseline defined in the Non Motorized plan study is corresponding to 34 percent of total trips.) LEON: The city in the final stage of the execution of the studies to integrate public transport with bikes. They are also finalizing the procurement for a communication plan to foster the use of bike routes. The city shows a great commitment with NMT. MONTERREY: The city has finished the implementation of a study on accessibility. JUAREZ: The city is finalizing the design of a network of bike lanes complementary to the BRT system. This is expected to increase the number of non-motorized trips, allowing the cities to meet the POI targets. PUEBLA: The studies towards a Non-Motorized Transport Plan are finalized..
