Amendment No. 6: Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding between the
Department for International Development (DFID), United Kingdom of Great Britain
and Northern Ireland and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development
and the International Development Association concerning the World Bank Trust
Fund: Joint Technical Assistance Programme (JOTAP) (TFO70869)
Dear Ms. Cooke:
1.    We refer to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the United Kingdom of
Great Britain and Northern Ireland, acting through the Department for International
Development (DFID) (the "Donor"), and the International Bank for Reconstruction and
Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association (IDA), (collectively, the
"Bank") regarding the World Bank Trust Fund: Joint Technical Assistance Programme dated
September 27, 2007 (TF070869) (the "Trust Fund"), effective September 27, 2007, as amended.
2.    Pursuant to recent discussions between the Bank and the Donor, the Bank proposes to
amend paragraph 2 of the MoU to extend the closing date to June 30, 2014 to read as follows:
Paragraph 2:i
"2.   The project will commence on 30 September 2007 and end on June 30, 2014. The
Bank may make disbursement of the Grant funds for up to four (4) months after the
Closing Date for expenditures incurred on or before such date, in accordance with Bank's
applicable policies and procedures."
3.    All other terms of the MoU shall remain the same.
4.    The Bank will disclose this MoU and related information on this Trust Fund in
accordance with the World Bank Policy on Access to Information. By entering into this
Agreement, the Donor consents to disclosure of this Agreement and related information on this
Trust Fund.

5.     We propose that this letter shall constitute an amendment to the MoU between the Bank
and the Donor. Please confirm your acceptance to the foregoing, on behalf of the Donor, by
signing and dating the two originals, retaining one original for your records and returning the
other original to the Bank. Upon receipt by the Bank of the original Amendment countersigned
by you, this Amendment will become effective as of the date of the countersignature.
