Construction works resumed on May 12 following strict sanitary measures and the Project Implementation Unit has reported 92% physical advance and 80% financial progress of civil works of the Salitre WWTP and ancillary civil works. PDO targets and its corresponding indicators have been met for Component 2 on flood control and environmental restoration. The EAAB is working with a selected to firm to develop the Master Plan on Biosolids Management that will include solutions to the EAAB for the decrease of generated sludge, and alternative scenario for the use of biosolids.
