Amendment No. I to Grant Agreement
Excellency:
We refer to the Ozone Projects Trust Fund Grant Agreement ("Grant Agreement") dated May 19,
2013, between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan ("Recipient") and the International Bank for Reconstruction
and Development, acting as Implementing Agency of the Multilateral Fund and Trustee of the Ozone
Projects Trust Fund ("World Bank"), regarding the HCFC Phase-Out (ODS III) Project ("Project"). Please
note that capitalized terms used in this letter (Amendment Letter) and not defined herein have the meaning
ascribed to them in the Grant Agreement.
The World Bank has received on June 7, 2016, the Recipient's letter No. 5/9/1/5436, dated June 7,
2016, requesting the amendment of the Grant Agreement for the purpose of: (i) modifying indicators in the
Results Framework of the Project; and (ii) cancelling an amount of the above-captioned Grant; and (iii)
reallocating Grant funds.
We are pleased to inform you that pursuant to the letter of request of June 7, 2016, the World Bank
hereby agrees to cancel, as of June 7, 2016, an amount of the Grant equal to One Million Three Hundred
and Sixty Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty United States Dollars (US$1 360,850.00).
The withdrawal table set forth in Section IV.A.2 of Schedule 2 to the Grant Agreement has been
revised accordingly and the revised withdrawal table is attached to this Letter of Amendment.
Unless the context otherwise requires and except where otherwise defined in this Letter of
Amendment, all capitalized terms contained herein shall have the meanings given to them in the Agreement.
Except as specifically amended by this Letter of Amendment, all other provisions of the Agreement
shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
Please confirm your agreement with the amendments set out above by countersigning, dating and
returning to us the enclosed copy of this Letter of Amendment. Upon receipt by the World Bank of the
countersigned original of this Letter of Amendment, the Letter of Amendment shall become effective as of
the date of countersignature.
