Overall, the project will help to reduce the incidence and severity of water shocks in river catchments, and improve the livelihoods of communities participating in the co-management of water and forests. Specific Outputs Achievements under the project will be measured by three indicators that will assess the implementing entities’ success in achieving their institutional mandates: Sediment load in rivers in project intervention areas; Forest areas under approved forest management plans; and Number of community level interventions rated satisfactory or higher by the participants.
