No The World Bank CASA1000 Community Support Project - Kyrgyz Republic (P163592) I. SUMMARY OF PROJECT STATUS AND PROPOSED CHANGES The project became effective in February 2020. During the subsequent period of COVID-19 restrictions, implementation progressed with the establishment of the team and the adaptation of community mobilization procedures. The project timeline is now aligned with the construction of the transmission line in the Kyrgyz Republic. The purpose of this restructuring is to extend the closing date of the CASA-1000 multi donor trust fund (CASA1000 MDTF) grant TF-A6612 until March 31, 2022. The closing dates for the IDA and CASA-1000 MDTF financing of the Project were originally intended to be aligned. However, at the time the Project was processed, the CASA-1000 MDTF had not been extended. Thus, the CASA1000 MDTF grant of US$1.0 million was signed with an earlier closing date than the IDA financing. Since the CASA-1000 MDTF, the parent trust fund, has now been extended, the closing date of the CSP CESA project can also be extended. II.
