No II. SUMMARY OF PROJECT STATUS AND PROPOSED CHANGES The Government of Liberia has obtained, through the Global Financing Facility (GFF), this recipient-executed HRITF (No. TF014432) in the amount of US$5,000,000. To date, $0.26 million or 2.62 percent of the trust fund has been disbursed; this is less than initially estimated. Implementation as originally planned was significantly delayed due to the Ebola crisis. Therefore, this project paper seeks a no cost extension to allow the planned activities to be completed beyond the current closing date of May 30, 2018, which would enable a full disbursement of the funds. The client has requested an extension till May 17, 2019, and has provided a satisfactory implementation plan for the proposed extension period. This HRITF is linked to the original Liberia Health System Strengthening Project (HSSP, IDA-5244, P128909), which has already been extended to June 20, 2020. This is the first extension of this Trust fund. The proposed extension does not entail a change in scope or nature of project activities. There are no audit reports due. III.
