Additional Contribution Agreement between the Government of the
Republic of Finland and he International Bank for Reconstruction and
Development ("IBRD"), as Trustee of the Trust Fund for the Global
Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (MTO No. 069001)
Dear Ambassador Koukku-Ronde:
We refer to the Contribution Agreement between the Government of the Republic
of Finland (the "Donor") and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development
("IBRD"), as Trustee of the Trust Fund for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis
and Malaria (the "Trust Fund"), and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and
Malaria (the "Global Fund"), effective January 17, 2006, as amended (the "Contribution
Agreement").
We are pleased to acknowledge on behalf of the IBRD, the intention of the Donor
to make available to the IBRD, as Trustee of the Trust Fund, an Additional Contribution
of Four Million Euros (EUR 4,000,000) (the "Additional Contribution") as a grant for the
Trust Fund.
The Donor understands arid agrees that the IBRD shall administer the Additional
Contribution in accordance with tae terms and conditions of the Contribution Agreement.
The Donor shall deposit the Additional Contribution into such bank account
designated by the IBRD promptly following countersignature of this Agreement by the
Donor and submission of a payment request by the IBRD.
The IBRD will disclose this Agreement and related information on this Trust
Fund in accordance with the World Bank Policy on Access to Information. By entering
into this Agreement, the Donor consents to such disclosure.

This letter shall, upon your confirmation in the manner indicated below, constitute
an agreement between the Donor arid the IBRD.
