No The World Bank CASA1000 Community Support Project for Tajikistan (P165313) I. SUMMARY OF PROJECT STATUS AND PROPOSED CHANGES The CASA1000 Community Support Project for Tajikistan (CSP) includes US$2 million in co-financing from the CASA1000 Multi-Donor Trust Fund as a Recipient-Executed Trust Fund (RETF) grant. The Grant Agreement for the CASA1000 Community Support Project for Tajikistan/co-financing Recipient Executed Trust Fund grant was declared effective on April 30, 2020. The implementing agency - the National Social Investment Fund of Tajikistan (NSIFT) - has prepared the CSP Project Operations and Sub-Grant Manuals and has recruited key positions to the Project Implementation Unit and is in final stages of selection of a Training and Facilitating Partner to support community mobilization, social accountability and governance capacity building activities. Project launch activities at community level are planned by September 30, 2020. The purpose of this restructuring is to extend the closing date of the CASA-1000 MDTF RETF grant (TF0A9568) until March 31, 2022. The closing dates for the IDA and CASA-1000 MDTF financing of the Community Support Project were originally intended to be aligned. However, at the time the Project was processed, the CASA-1000 MDTF had not been extended. Thus, the CASA1000 MDTF grant of US$2.0 million was signed with an earlier closing date than the IDA financing. Since the CASA-1000 MDTF, the parent trust fund, has now been extended, the closing date of the CSP RETF grant can also be extended to better align with IDA CSP’s implementation schedule. II.
