The financing agreement was signed on August 19, 2021 and preparations for project effectiveness are ongoing including the constitution of the National Project Implementation Unit (NPIU), which will manage the day-to-day implementation of the project, and development of the Project Operations Manual. Project Implementation Units (PIUs) at the beneficiary universities and MoEST agencies supported by the project have also been constituted with appropriate staffing.
