However, project implementation progress continues experiencing delays. Although Systematic Land Registration activities in the Dura area in the Southern West Bank supported under Component 1 continue demonstrating good models for replication, activities related to Palestinian Land Authority (PLA) institutional strengthening (Component 2) are significantly delayed. The Financing Partners and the PLA met formally in September 2013 and agreed on key actions to accelerate implementation progress and mitigate risks of delays. The strong and continued commitment of the Palestinian Authority, represented by the PLA is crucial to the success of this project.
