Supplemental Arrangement between the Government of Canada as
represented by the Minister for International Cooperation, acting
through the Canadian International Development Agency and the
International Bank for Reconstruction and Development concerning the
Global Partnership for Education Fund (MTO NO. 069020)
Dear Ms. Jacovella,
1.    We refer to the Administration Arrangement between the Government of Canada,
as represented by the Minister for International Cooperation, acting through the Canadian
International Development Agency ("CIDA") (the "Contributor") and the International
Bank for Reconstruction and Development ("IBRD") acting as trustee (the "Trustee") of
the Global Partnership for Education Fund ( the "Trust Fund") (MTO No.069020) dated
December 13, 2011 (the "Arrangement").
2.    We are pleased to acknowledge on behalf of the Bank, the intention of the
Contributor to make a supplemental contribution to the Trust Fund in the amount of
twenty one million Canadian Dollars (CDN$ 21,000,000) (the "Supplemental
Contribution").
3.    The Contributor will deposit the Supplemental Contribution into such account
with such bank designated in a payment request by the Trustee, in accordance with the
following schedule and currency ("Contribution Currency"), and submission of a
payment request by the Trustee.

4.    When making such deposit, the Contributor will instruct its corresponding bank to
include in its payment details information (remittance advice) field of its SWIFT payment
message, information indicating: the amount paid, that the payment is made by the

Contributor for MTO No 069020 (the Global Partnership for Education Fund), and the
date of the deposit.
All other terms of the Arrangement will remain the same.
5.    The Bank will disclose this Amendment and related information on this Trust
Fund in accordance with the World Bank Policy on Access to Information. By entering
into this Amendment, the Contributor consents to disclosure of this Amendment and
related information on this Trust Fund.
6.    Please confirm your acceptance of the foregoing, on behalf of the Contributor, by
signing and dating the two originals, and retaining one original for your records and
returrning the other original to the Bank. Upon receipt by the Bank of the original
countersigned by you, this Supplemental Arrangement will become effective as of the
date of the countersignature.
