Grant Development Objective(s) and Expected Key Performance Indicators Grant Development Objectives: Develop and test innovative approaches for mainstreaming indigenous people's into the Second Agrarian Reform Communities Development Project (ARCDP2) activities to maximize their benefits from the project. In addition, the grant would aim to improve the technical capacity of the project personnel and the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) in developing and operationalizing methodologies that take into account IP beneficiary needs in the context of integrated community development. Specifically, the grant would aim to : (1) develop effective targeting mechanisms for Indigenous Peoples (IPs) in the mainly mixed IP/non IP communities; (2) design appropriate incentive systems for Local Government Units (LGUs) to mainstream IP concerns in their development planning and subsequent implementation; (3) prepare Ancestral Domain Sustainable Development and Protection Plans (ADSDPP) in ancestral domain areas and IP community plans for non-ancestral domain areas within ARCDP2 sites; (4) facilitate the streamlining of the Free and Prior Informed Consent (FPIC) processes; and (5) provide supplemental support and documentation of innovative IP-mainstreaming approaches in selected ARCDP2 sites.
