It is implemented by the Public Services Agency, Department of Cadastre which hosts the Project Implementation Unit. Project activities are coordinated with two supporting agencies: the Agency for Land Relations and Cadastre and the Public Property Agency. Overall policy guidance and direction to project implementation is provided by the Project Council, a body that gathers representatives from several ministries, government agencies and local public authorities. Activities on First Registration (Component A) and Valuation (Component B) are progressing in accordance with the revised implementation plan which reflects the delays that occurred early in implementation (2019) and during the COVID 19 crisis (2020). It is expected to have project activities launched in at least one district/region each month in a total of 12 regions by end of calendar 2021. New model for property valuation is being developed.
