The construction of 12 multi- village rural water supply systems has been completed. Some delays in procurement have impacted the implementation of the national investment program, as well as the recruitment of the regional operators being contracted through a public-private partnership (PPP) arrangement. Yet to date, the project is on track to meet its objectives. The PPP contracts for the regional operators are expected to be awarded during the third quarter of 2021.
