AUDIT REPORT To The Chief Executive Officer, Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), 2"d Floor, NTR Administrative Block, P N Bus Station, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. We have audited the attached Balance Sheet of APRIGP (World Bank) Program/scheme of Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) as on 31st March 2018 and the Income & Expenditure Account for the year ended on that date along with annexed Receipts and payments account thereto, these financial statements are the responsibility of the Organization's Management. Our responsibility is to express an opinion on these financial statements based on our audit. We conducted our audit in accordance with Auditing Standards generally accepted in India. Those Standards require that we plan and perform the audit to obtain reasonable assurance whether the financial statements are free of material misstatement an audit includes examining, on a test basis, evidence supporting the amounts and disclosures in the financial statements presentation. We believe that our audit provides a reasonable basis for our opinion subject to our observation Annexed herewith. Subject to above: - 1. We have obtained all the information and explanations, which to the best of our knowledge and belief were necessary for the purpose of our audit 2. The Balance Sheet, Income & Expenditure Account and Receipts and Payments Account, Extract from the APRIGP accounts dealt with by this report are in agreement with the books of accounts 3. In our opinion and to the best of our information and according to the explanations given to us, the said accounts give the information required by the statue, in the manner so required and give a true and fair view in conformity with the accounting principle generally accepted in India a. In the case of the Balance Sheet, to the state of affairs as at 31st March 2018. b. In the case of the Income & Expenditure Account, Excess of Expenditure over Income for the period from 01.04.2017 to 31.03.2018. c. In the case of the Receipts and payment Account the receipts and payments made for period from 01.04.2017 to 31.03.2018.
