Wuhan and Anlu have invested CNY 331.9 million in the project, which amounts to 25% of the total project cost estimated at project appraisal. Since the previous mission in April, both Wuhan and Anlu have advanced significantly in design preparation and procurement. In Anlu, works on integrated corridors are progressing well with two out of five corridors completed, one almost completed, and the remaining two under procurement. Zhanqian Road has completed all major works and opened to traffic in time before the opening of the High-Speed Rail (HSR) Station in November 2019, providing critical connectivity from the HSR station to downtown Anlu. Project implementation in Wuhan in the past six months was affected by Wuhan hosting the World Military Games in October 2019, 1/10/2020 Page 1 of 8 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Wuhan Integrated Transport Development (P148294) but the procurement started to advance shortly after. Wuhan expects to complete the procurement of all remaining activities by the end of February 2020. The World Bank team continues to work with Wuhan and Anlu to finalize the restructuring proposal of the project.
