About the Project This is the second phase of the Roads Maintenance and Rehabilitation Project. The primary goals are to: • Improve the quality of road sector assets in an effort to ensure good condition and safety on selected roads; • Pilot alternative approaches to road maintenance; and • Enhance road-related economic opportunities for women. The additional financing will be used to improve connectivity and facilitate trade and access to markets by rehabilitating national and provincial roads.
