Amendment No. 10 to the Agreement between the Commonwealth of
Australia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and
Development and the International Development Association
concerning the Multi-Donor Trust Fund for Pacific Facility III
(TF055181)
Dear Mr. Tranter:
We refer to the Administration Agreement dated July 11, 2005, between the
Commonwealth of Australia (the "Donor") and the International Bank for Reconstruction and
Development and the International Development Association (collectively, the "World Bank")
regarding the Multi-Donor Pacific Trust Fund Facility III, as amended to date (the "Agreement").
We are pleased to acknowledge on behalf of the World Bank the intention of the Donor to
make available a supplemental contribution of two hundred and eighty thousand Australian dollars
(A$280,000).
Accordingly, the World Bank proposes to amend the Agreement and the Standard
Provisions incorporated therein to read as follows:
1. Paragraph I of the Agreement is amended so as to read as follows:
"We are pleased to acknowledge on behalf of the International Bank for
Reconstruction and Development ("IBRD") and the International Development
Association ("IDA") (collectively, the "Bank"), the intention of Australia, through the
Australian Agency for International Development ("AusAID") (the "Donor"), to make
available as a grant the sums of (a) ten million Australian dollars (A$1 0,000,000); (b)
thirty-five thousand Australian dollars (A$35,000); (c) one hundred and fifty three
thousand four hundred Australian dollars (A$153,400); (d) five hundred and seventy
thousand forty three United States dollars and forty six centrs (US$570,043.46); (e)
twelve million Australian dollars (A$12,000,000); (f) two million Australian dollars
(A$2,000,000); (g) nine million Australian dollars (A$9,000,000); (h) six million six
hundred and fifty thousand Australian dollars (A$6,650,000); (i) seven million five
hundred and twenty five thousand Australian dollars (A$7,525,000); and (j) two
hundred and eighty thousand Australian dollars (A$280,000) (together, the


"Contribution") for the Multi-Donor Pacific Trust Fund Facility III (the "Project").
Other donors are expected to contribute to this trust fund on the terms and conditions
specified in the Annex I to this Agreement."
2. Paragraph 3 of the Agreement is amended by adding a new subparagraph (xi) as follows
and renumbering the remaining subparagraphs as (xii) and (xiii) respectively:
"(xi) Following countersignature of Amendment No. 10 and submission of a
payment request by the Bank, the Donor shall promptly deposit two hundred and eighty
thousand dollars (A$280,000)"
Except as specifically amended herein, all other terms and provision of the Agreement
remain in full force and effect.
Please confirm your agreement with the foregoing, on behalf of the Donor, by signing,
dating, and returning to us the enclosed copy of this Agreement. Upon receipt by the Bank of
the copy of this Agreement countersigned by you, this amendment will become effective as of
the date of the countersignature; provided that the amendment to the Standard Provisions will
become effective as of the final date of the agreement to that amendment by all donors to the
Multi-Donor Pacific Trust Fund Facility Ill.
