Three out of five outcome indicators and nine of the 13 intermediate results indicators achieved or surpassed their FY 2019 targets. The overall performance under Community Action for Health and Nutrition (Component 1) is on track and has been scaled up to all the target health committees. While the committees have made progress in achieving targets of the indicators for receiving results-based financing, they require additional technical support to invest the funds earned. The Project has been able to overcome bottlenecks associated with procurement of civil works and consultancy services and has awarded most of the contracts under Component 2. However, in order to maximize impact, there is an urgent need to improve field monitoring to ensure quality and timeliness of work. The progress under procurement strengthening, Supply Chain Management and Information, Communication and Technology has shown marked improvement. The project has completed the revamp of physical infrastructure of nursing, midwifery and paramedical schools and conducted several capacity building workshops for their faculty. 6/29/2020 Page 1 of 7 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Nagaland Health Project (P149340) Risks Systematic Operations Risk-rating Tool Risk Category Rating at Approval Previous Rating Current Rating Political and Governance -- Moderate Moderate Macroeconomic -- Moderate Moderate Sector Strategies and Policies -- Moderate Moderate Technical Design of Project or Program -- Moderate Moderate Institutional Capacity for Implementation and -- Substantial Substantial Sustainability Fiduciary -- Substantial Substantial Environment and Social -- Moderate Moderate Stakeholders -- Low Low Other -- -- -- Overall -- Moderate Moderate Results PDO Indicators by Objectives / Outcomes Increase utilization of health service by communities in targeted locations.
