Washington, D.C. 20433 U.S.A Dear Mr. Reinermann: Re: Arrangement between the Republic of Austria and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development ("IBRD") and the International Development Association ("IDA") concerning the Debt Relief Trust Fund (TF024335) With reference to the Contribution Arrangement between the Republic of Austria and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development ("IBRD") and the International Development Association ("IDA") (collectively referred to as the "Bank") dated November 15, 2001 (the “Contribution Arrangement”). The Republic of Austria (the “Donor”) has decided to support the Debt Relief Trust Fund (the “Trust Fund”) (TF024335) and make available an additional contribution of Six Million Nine Hundred Fifty Thousand Euros (EUR 6,950,000) as a grant for the HIPC window of the Trust Fund (the “Additional Debt Relief Contribution”). The Additional Debt Relief Contribution shall be administered by the Bank in accordance with the terms of the Resolutions No. (R2008-0212 and IDA/R2008-0279approved by the Executive Directors of IBRD and IDA on October 6, 2008 (the “Resolutions”), amending the Resolutions No 96-9 and IDA 96-5, which established the HIPC Debt Initiative Trust Fund, and changing the name of the HIPC Debt Initiative Trust Fund to the "Debt Relief Trust Fund". The several terms defined in the Resolutions shall have the meaning therein set forth for purposes of this Arrangement. The Additional Debt Relief Contribution will be paid in cash according to the following schedule: EUR 2,317,000 on or before January 15, 2021 EUR 2,317,000 on or before January 18, 2022 EUR 2,316,000 on or before January 17, 2023 The Additional Debt Relief Contribution is to be allocated as a HIPC Creditor Specific Contribution to the IDA. The Additional Debt Relief Contribution may be provided to finance debt relief agreed to be provided prior to the completion point determined under the Initiative for eligible HIPCs. The Additional Debt Relief Contribution will constitute a Debt Relief Transfer Contribution under the terms of IDA’s Nineteenth Replenishment. -2- The Additional Debt Relief Contribution will be deposited into such bank account designated by the Bank upon submission of written payment requests by the Bank according to the above payment schedule. Except as otherwise provided herein, the terms of the Contribution Arrangement shall apply to the Additional Debt Relief Contribution. In the event of any inconsistency between the terms of the Resolutions and the Contribution Arrangement, the terms of the Resolutions shall apply.
