Amendment No. I to the Supplemental Arrangement
between the Government of Australia, acting through the Department of Foreign Affairs and
Trade and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development regarding
the Partnership for Knowledge-based Poverty Reduction Multi-Donor Trust Fund
(Trust Fund No. TFO72841 parallel to original Trust Fund No. TFO71514, DFAT No. 56043)
1.    Reference is made to the Supplemental Arrangement between the Government of Australia,
acting through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (the "Donor") and the
International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the "Bank" and together with the
Donor, the "Participants" and each a "Participant") regarding the Partnership for Knowledge-
based Poverty Reduction Multi-Donor Trust Fund^o. TF072841 effective as of May 24, 2017
(the "Supplemental Arrangement").
2.    The Bank acknowledges that the Donor has decided, subject to Legislative appropriations, to
provide an additional contribution in the amount of two'-million five hundred thousand
Australian Dollars'(AUD 2,500,000) (the "Contribution") in accordance with the terms of this
letter of amendments ("Amendnnt").
3.    The Donor will deposit the Contribution promptly following countersignature in the full
amount and currency ("Contribution Currency") specified in paragrap.h 2 above into such bank
account designated by the Bank upon submission of a payme equest  y the* ArA (such
deposit being an "Installment").
4.    When making a deposit, the Donor will instruct its bank to include in its deposit details
information (remittance advice) field of its SWIFT deposit message, information indicating:
the amount deposited, that the deposit is made by the Donor for Trust Fund No. TF072841 (the
Partnership for Knowledge-based Poverty Reduction Multi-Donor Trust Fund), and the date of
the deposit (the "Deposit Instructions"). In addition, the Donor will provide a copy of the
Deposit Instructions to the Bank's Accounting Trust Funds Division by e-mail sent to
tfremitadvice@worldbank.org or by fax sent to (202) 614-1315.
5.    All other terms of the Supplemental Arrangement will remain the same.
6.    The Bank will disclose this Amendment in accordance with the Bank's Policy on Access to
Information. By entering into this Amendment, the Donor consents to such disclosure.

7.     Each of the Participants represents, by confirming its acceptance below, that it is authorized to
enter into this Amendment and act in accordance with its provisions. The Participants are
requested to sign and date this Amendment, and upon possession by the Bank of this fully
signed Amendment, this Amendment will become effective as of the date of the last signature.
