The Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) requested to restructure the project to utilize remaining project resources to finance the reconstruction efforts of local government units (LGUs) and private sector participating institutions affected by major disasters that hit the Philippines in the last quarter of 2013. An interim loan closing date extension of two months has been provided to the project to allow the World Bank to review and process LBP’s restructuring proposal.
