The capitalized terms used in this letter ("Amendment Letter") and not defined herein have the meaning ascribed to them in the Agreement. We also refer to your letter dated October 15, 2021 requesting the World Bank to extend the implementation period for another year to allow the completion of Project activities and operational processes as planned, as well as exclude the establishment of a profiling system under Component I from the scope of the Project. We are pleased to inform you that the World Bank has agreed to your request and hereby amend the Agreement as follows: I. Part I of Schedule I to the Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows: "Part 1. Employment services and Active Labor Market Programs ("ALMP") Provision of employment services and ALMP for SuTP and Turkish citizens residing in Selected Localities, including, specifically: (a) job search support, including counseling, and carrying out skills assessments; (b) Turkish language training for SuTP not deemed proficient in Turkish, including the provision of stipends to beneficiaries; (c) Skills training courses, including the provision of stipends to beneficiaries and of training-related costs; and (d) Applied Training Program Payments for beneficiaries placed in Applied Training Programs." 2. Section IV.B.2 of Schedule 2 to the Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows: Mr. Sadettin Akyl -2- December 21, 2021 "2. The Closing Date referred to in Section 3.06 (c) of the Standard Conditions is December 30, 2022." All other provisions of the Agreement, except amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect. Please confirm, on behalf of the Recipient, your agreement with the foregoing, by signing and dating this Amendment Letter in the spaces provided below. This Amendment Letter shall be executed in two counterparts each of which shall be an original and one of which shall be returned to us. The provisions set forth in this Amendment Letter will become effective as of the date of the countersignature by the Recipient's authorized representative, upon receipt by the Bank of one original of this Amendment Letter, fully executed by the parties thereto.
